The International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Socastee High is just one of many options available to high schools students.  A majority of our IB students apply in the winter of their 8th grade year to enter into the Pre-IB program in 9th grade.  We offer two informational nights - one in January and the second in February for parents and students to learn more about the program offered.  

Applications for the IB Program are accepted beginning on the first Monday of January following the return from our Winter break.  Applications are reviewed as they are received and acceptance letters are mailed out beginning the first Monday in March.  The student commitment form is due back to the school no later than the first Monday in April.  

After this official application process, we keep our application portal open for interested students through the spring and summer until the start of the following school year.
