One Love Socastee
The purpose of the club is to join the movement and support the One Love Foundation. The One Love Foundation's mission is to empower young people with the tools to recognize the signs of healthy vs. unhealthy relationships and how to navigate through them. We are the FIRST One Love Club in the entire State of South Carolina. Our goals are to spread the message and hopefully branch out into other schools & communities. The basis to the One Love Club is our workshops that we will be putting on quarterly which involve large groups of people & discussions that will open up lines of communication and shed light on signs of what relationships should be. We hold meetings with the officers every 2 weeks to talk about initiatives & events we want to create or support. Some things that we have coming up are a lacrosse game sponsorship, hanging art around the school to raise awareness, as well as a lot of activities to bring more people to the club. |
